i tiptoe into our room, where my love lies sleeping, bathed in the silver wonder that is the springtime moon.......
he is sound asleep, a small smile playing with his parted lips, showing a hint of charmingly white teeth.......
but what i notice most is how completely relaxed and at peace he is..... like an innocent child, boyish, sweet, and untouched by a harsh world of unpleasant realities.....
framed in moonlight, he becomes the child i never knew, and i understand and recognize another facet of who he is today, and why---- as he rests in the moonlight, halfway to tomorrow......
