Singing softly, whispering to me

Giving me comfort, seeming to say

Pretty, pretty, pretty, pretty .... whoops, that's a cardinal's prerogative. The green parrot doesn't need to tell us how pretty he is. But, then, he is more likely to talk. Did he get you out of bed?
